Who is affected by dehydrated skin?

Skin dehydration is a common concern that affects many people of all ages! This condition is not exclusive to a specific skin type, oily skin can perfectly suffer from dehydration!

How do you know if your skin is dehydrated? Here are some obvious signs that will allow you to adopt the appropriate Topicrem body and/or face product:

Feeling of tightness: Does your skin feel tight after showering or bathing? Dehydrated skin often feels tight, as if it lacks elasticity. This feeling can be particularly pronounced after cleansing the skin.

Dull appearance: Dehydration can make skin look dull and tired. It loses its natural shine and may appear less luminous.

Superficial lines: Fine lines, especially around the eyes and mouth, may appear more pronounced on dehydrated skin. These fine lines are often linked to a lack of hydration.

Redness and sensitivity: Dehydration can lead to redness and increased sensitivity of the skin. This can make the skin more reactive to external irritants.

Peeling: Dry or dehydrated skin may have areas of flaking, where the skin appears to be peeling. Another sign of a noticeable lack of hydration.

Enlarged pores: Dehydration can cause the skin's pores to appear larger. The skin tries to compensate for the lack of hydration by producing more sebum.

Lack of suppleness: Dehydrated skin can appear less supple and less plump. It may react less elastically to touch.

Appearance of small dehydration wrinkles: These small lines, different from deep wrinkles, are often temporary and appear due to lack of water in the skin.

Uncomfortable reaction: Dehydrated skin may react in uncomfortable ways after applying products, including feelings of tingling or irritation.
